PDPAOLA presented “Crafted to Transcend” at Fuorisalone 2026: an immersive installation that transformed jewelry into living architecture for INTERNI MATERIAE exhibition.
Created by Paola Sasplugas in collaboration with Angela Roman and inspired by the fluid morphology of the iconic Glacier earrings, the piece unfolded as a large-scale organic structure characterized by smooth, semi-polished, and intentionally raw surfaces. Visitors were invited to carve its 3D plaster “heart,” transforming it day by day. In an era marked by automation and serial production, PDPAOLA reaffirmed the art of craftsmanship as a vital and exclusively human act.
The installation was inaugurated with a special vernissage at the beginning of Milano Design Week, attended by the selected network of journalists, KOLs, and talents.
