Italy, March 2021
The Levi's® Upcycling project pushes sustainability and responsible consumption as brand core values to the next level, overcoming the classic concept of "recycling" to reinvent and reconvert iconic clothes made to last, thanks to the recovery of materials and their creative reuse. Upcycling gives new life to products to create something unique and of even greater value and quality.
The Levi's® Upcycling project in Italy sees Marta Ferri, the fashion designer and couturier from Milan known internationally for bespoke garments with a unique style, interpreter of the creation of an exclusive denim wedding dress, a concrete example of the new frontiers of sustainable fashion.
In order to create this dress, the Atelier Marta Ferri worked with about 30 Levi's® icons such as Trucker Jackets and 501® Jeans.
Thanks to Vogue Italia for the special feature on its “The Creativity Issue”
